ENSH: Ireland's Chief Medical Officer signs the Tobacco Free United (TFU) Charter

Ireland's Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tony Holohan signs the Tobacco Free United (TFU) Charter while endorsing the TFU Pact. In signing the Charter Dr. Holohan committed himself, as a clinician, to do his utmost to reduce tobacco consumption and to help and support smokers who would like to stop. He also confirmed that the TFU Pact is in line with the department policy on health and supports our national obligations in implementing the World Health Organisation Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC).
